If you work for a lending institution, or are interviewing for a position with one, look at this article in Forbes. The author suggests some creative ways that banks can reduce foreclosures.

As an employee, constantly tossing out creative ideas (whatever the source) will mark you as a motivated problem-solver, and help your chances of advancement. That's true even if you work for a conservative employer that isn't especially inclined to innovate. As a job seeker, there's no better way to impress an interviewer and stand out from the pack than to demonstrate that you're a well-informed, cutting-edge thinker.
